On the Threshold

The desert sun beats down brightly, the dry earth’s dark cracks and crevasses are inviting places for creatures to hide. But, the wild lizard gains higher ground, on the threshold of the hunt. From a predator’s vantage point he calculates his next move, motivated not only to survive, but to thrive in this seemingly impossible terrain.

  1. Love this shot of the lizard – it’s so sharp and crisp that you can actually see its scales. It has a lazy look on his face, maybe it was bored? Or sleepy because of the heat, which I like to think :)

    • Thank you Mabel! They definitely do have quite an expressionless expression! Haha, I like to think he was being still to blend in to the wood like a super covert chameleon.:)
